FIRST OF ALL - FIND SOME PLAYING PIECES!
( pennies, old monopoly pieces, belly button lint, beer caps, etc... )
  1. You will need to find a single die. Perhaps from a Monopoly game or the like.
  2. Now get your favorite beverage and have it near to you.
  3. Take your "Boredgame" CD out of it's container and place it in your CD player.
  4. Set the CD player to 'Shuffle' and 'Repeat' so that the disc will play in a random fashion and repeat indefinitely.
  5. Now let's begin. Each player will roll the die and lowest role goes first. (Just for a change)
  6. The player going first will start with his/her playing piece 'OFF THE BOARD'.
  7. The first player will roll the die and advance onto the board that number of spaces.

Here's the color breakdown:

  • GREEN: You tell another player to take a drink
  • PURPLE: You tell another player to take a drink & you lose a song*
    • If no other player is on the board you'll have to take a drink yourself .
      ( sorry, but I guess that's what you get for going first... )
  • BLUE: YOU must EITHER take the amount of drinks shown on the die or go back to the beginning of the game**
  • RED: YOU drink and go back 3 spaces!
  • YELLOW: You have to chug your entire drink and then you tell ANOTHER player to go back to the beginning**

LANDING ON A SONG

* If you land on a space that has a song title on it, then that becomes your song.
(write it down)

** If you own a song or songs, the nearest song behind you is what your beginning is.

If another player lands on your song they MUST take the amount of drinks shown on the die.
This is copyright infringement and must be punished to the full extent of the law.
( Since laws are really just fabrications of human minds - we will punish the minds )

If your song is played on the CD player ALL OTHER PLAYERS MUST DRINK.
They must drink to you having your song on 'The Radio' ( good for you! )

WINNING THE GAME

The first player to reach the the "Rock Star" space must remain there until one of his/her songs are played on "The Radio". If another player reaches the "Rock Star" space and their song is played before a player that has reached it earlier then THEY are the winner.

If a player reaches the "Rock Star" space and owns NO songs, they must move their playing piece to the nearest un-owned song, which becomes their song. Then they continue the game from that space. If all songs are already owned, the player must wait for somebody to lose a song OR They can GHUG an entire beer to go for the win.
