You can find Wes's new projects here:  www.myrecentdivorce.com

Mark Tillman is running with the boys at:  www.whowasi.net

Can someone post any Web Link to Wes's new group -- if he got in one? Just wondering how he's doing and any updates. Yes I'm too bum out that Buck32 Split... but it was Great while it lasted. Perhaps in a few years Wes will move back to FL and we'll have a Buck32 Come Back Tour!

I know you guys have broken up, and I am bumbed about it, but as a doctor I always wondered why Wes was Wes. Potential greatness with an excentricism sometimes groinfully painful for others, I came upon this mental disorder that I do believe explaines the Wesman. It is called Asperger Syndrome. The singer of the Vines was diagnosed with it as have other entertainers. It is real and treatable. If anyone can get a hold of Wes please pass this along as I want to see Wes and the Buck32 band again. Dr. Blue

Dee, Thanks for the Invite... I'm too sorry to see Wes leaving and the end of Buck32, but I'll try to make it to the going away Buck32 / Wes Wake. I'll let Matt know, I'm sure he'll make it too. It's been more than a Blast and Fun for my whole lifetime... I've found endless weekends and weekdays jamming to Buck32 Live and in my car or home. Wes, if you ever get the time and sit back... Remember your Old Band - Buck32 and most of all -- Your Brevard, Florida Fans and Friends! If you ever get tired of LA, we'll always welcome you back... and bring it back to "What It Was"... in Brevard. I wish Wes, John, Mark, and Mark "V" the best of ROCK can offer and much more… You may not know the impact of all you’ve done for your fans, family, and for Brevard... It’s been Great to know all of you and the group as a whole... Thanks for all you’ve been to many people, and to me... you all touched so many! JC....

One last time,
Is finally here…
Spending the evening with Wes,
Talking about good times we've shared…

His one last porch,
One last beer,
One last cow,
Our last tears...

We'll talk about ‘What It Was’
We'll hear him laugh!
We'll share a song,
We'll walk down old paths...

‘Reminiscing and feeling the love’
Sounds like something he’d say,
He’ll be taking a lot of great memories
At the end of the day!

Won’t you join us?
At Mark and Dee’s, you know, “The Porch”!
Saturday night is where you’ll find
The old gang and assorted bunch!!

To Wes we’ll bid a fond adieu,
Hoping his dreams will all come true!
Knowing that in LA when he hits it ‘big’
He’ll forget every one of us and we’ll call him a PIG!

WHERE: 1207 Cheyenne Drive, IHB - Mark and Dee's
WHEN: Saturday, September 18
TIME: Anytime after 6pm
BRING: Don't know who's coming or how big OR small this will be - please bring a lawn chair, BYOB, and a dish to share

PS....PLEASE PASS THIS INFO ALONG....THIS IS VERY SHORT NOTICE AND WE'D LIKE TO GET THE WORD OUT TO ALL OF WES' FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES!!

Yep, Wes has issues, just like you and me and everyone. Great creativity has come from those issues. Let Wes be Wes and you just worry about yourself and so on. York is weird, Vedder is weird, Smith is weird, Stipe is, Elton is (nevermind that one). Wes, go to LA and be super. Just don't forget the 3 guys that helped get you to where you are today. I've known Wes longer than anyone (besides our Mom and Dad) - he has always been weird and self-destructive and has made very few intelligent decisions in his life (no offense busta), but I really don't think he's coming to LA to escape anything other than the boredom of doing the same thing over and over. Think what you will, but if REALITY is growing old while working at Radio Shack and playing in the same small town forever...
Move on

Kell

KELL sounds as foolish and weird as Wes. All we are saying is that the man has been, for the last couple of years, getting more and more weird and destructive and if he thinks L.A. will cure that he is saddly mistaken. Get of the booze and the drugs first and see where your mind takes you then. If it is L.A. then ok. Right now I do not think the boy can make an intelligent decision. His mind is to wasted. I wish no harm to him, only the best. Wes, come back to reality and experience life. It really is good.

I am truly saddened by the news of Buck32's upcoming end. I was there from the Dr. Joe's days and had to move away last year. I recently returned for a visit and no Dr. Joe's and the Buck32 news. This area has lost and is losing 2 very happy, fun and pleasing aspects. I will remember the band as the most fun one I have ever seen. The energy, honesty and love that came from 4 down to earth guys each and every show. I really am crying as I am writing this. It is like a stage of my growing has ended. Wes and V will forever be my favorite singers. No harmonies came close. I will be coming down for the last show/cd release party. Make it a night to remember. I will. Much love and saddness, Sarah

I am back. After seeing Wes perform this weekend and his drunken stupor on stage Saturday, I am convinced that his leaving is the best for the Buck32 fans. He embarresed himself and the band, even for the few that were there. I, for one, will not go to see another show. I prefer to remember Buck32 as the band they once were, the best ever to come out of Brevard in years. Wes, don't drag the good name of B32 through the mud. The rest of the guys are too good for that. You, on the other hand, are now a drunken waste. L.A deserves you. Congrats to Mark an "V" for already finding life after B32. John, you will find something new also. Your talents will not go to waste. Wes's are already wasted.

Cheers to the best band that came from Brevard in years. Whether or not other bands realize it, the buckers started a trend here like no other has ever done. All original music, acoustic jams, national airplay and so much more. It is a shame that Wes is leaving but the legacy of Buck32 will stay for a very long time. I applaud the simple fact that for 5 years the same 4 guys, writing song after song, stayed together through thick and thin and had staying power were others fell to the wayside. I am very amped just thinking of what new bands may span from the remaining members. Good luck and rock on. I salute you.

I am so fucking tired of listening to people bitch! If you really were 'a loving fan' then maybe you would be encouraging Wes to go after his dream instead of giving him shit for it. Right now he needs all the assurance he can get. If you are not willing to do that I can flat guarantee there are a lot of people out there that are willing. I, personally, back him up 100% and hope to god that his fans in LA appreciate his extraordinary talent a hell of a lot more than your sorry ass does.

Guess he feels L.A. is the answer. Not for him. There is no answer for him. Maybe he is just running from minny mouse. The scenario...You and 4 of your buddies spend countless hours turning various bits of crap into cohesive entertaining songs...You drag your equipment to the gigs night after night and the place is either packed, empty or somewhere in between....At the end of your scorching set or sets you look out at the crowd over and over and all you see are the backs of heads at the bar and NO-ONE is even looking in your direction with the exception of your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/cousin/uncle..whatever....Oh wait...I forgot about the one dude in the back that bellowed "SLAYER" a little earlier during that one slower song you have...
On top of this you will probably be shorted in some way by the club and then you finally get to lug all your P.A. and other assorted articles back to whereever it is you store them... your hung over from confidence shots and the rare free drink from the guy who probably yelled "SLAYER" earlier that evening and It's 2 hours away from the time you have to be at work...And the next day you have to read a message on your bands website about how little you have done for ?YOUR FANS?....or in this matter the the one fan that didn't even bother to yell "SLAYER"

Mark , John , Wes and V are really hard workers outside of the band and they have been able to entertain people around their busy schedules. This takes dedication and commitment. They all have daytime jobs as well as families. They work very hard every year to bring the best of themselves and each other to each and every show they play. Do you guys realize that it has been forever since you guys have done anything new for your fans. No cd, no shirts, no stickers, nothing. Just a whining, frontman begging for attention. Maybe if the band had a frontman that did not rag on his band so much on stage (I know we suck, maybe this one will be better). What the fuck is that about. Why not just tell everyone how unhappy you are with life sisiiy boy, on your own time, not the band and fans time. I, for one, am tired of going to Buck shows with nothing new and the same depressing singer. He is good, but he gets very annoying to watch and listen to with all his bitching a moaning. Wes, either enjoy music or get over it and get a real job like all of us other fans. You just do not know how good you have it boy.
